Getting to Telluride there are no shortage of options on flying in, there are four airports within driving distance: Montrose-Telluride Regional Airport (MTJ) - 75 minutes to Mountain Village, Telluride Regional Airport (TEX) - 15 minutes to Mountain Village, Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) - 2 1/2 hours to Mountain Village, Durango-La Plata Regional Airport (DRO). Once landed the best way to get to town would be to take a taxi, rideshare, shuttles, or car rentals. Once in town, it is recommended to walk because everything is within walking distance! There are also buses that can take you around as well as the free gondola that will take you to both villages located on the mountain.
