Outdoor Fun: Pop-up shade, fire-starting supplies, and optional propane fire ring. No matter the destination, Chateau Memory Lane turns road trips into unforgettable adventures. ____________________________________ SUPPLEMENTAL RENTAL AGREEMENT This agreement outlines all policies and expectations for your RV rental. Submitting your booking indicates acceptance of all terms. 1. Orientation A 1–2 hour walkthrough is required at pickup. Please plan accordingly. 2. Early Returns No refunds for early returns, including due to accidents (unless not at fault and covered by another party's insurance). 3. Late Fees Returns after the agreed time incur $75/hr. If more than 90 minutes late for pickup, owners may cancel or reschedule. After-dark returns will be checked the next day. All drivers must be 25+ and listed. 4. Travel Restrictions No unpaved roads (outside RV parks). Violations forfeit your deposit. 5. Tolls & Tickets Renter is responsible for all tolls, tickets, and red-light violations. $70 admin fee per invoice applies. 6. Campground Reservations You must book campsites separately. No refunds for campsite issues. 7. Awning Use Awning use is permitted, but any damage is 100% renter’s responsibility and not covered by insurance. 8. Generator Use Use sparingly to conserve fuel. It runs off the main fuel tank (won’t work below ¼ tank). Malfunctions must be reported immediately. Renter is liable for any generator-related damages. 9. Fuel Return RV with the same fuel level. Refueling costs are deducted from your deposit. 10. Tires You may refill tires with regular air if needed. A spare is included. 11. Towing No towing allowed. Bike and cargo racks are acceptable. 12. Roof Access No rooftop access. Evidence of rooftop use results in full deposit loss. 13. Pets Dogs require prior approval. No pets on upholstery. $250 refundable deposit per dog. Pet damage may result in deep cleaning or full deposit loss. 14. Propane Must be returned at same level or $50 charge applies. Optional external 20 lb. tank available for an additional fee. 15. Waste Tanks Only RV-safe toilet paper in the black tank. No food in gray tank. Return tanks EMPTY and valves CLOSED. Otherwise, $150 dump fee applies. 16. Cleaning Return RV clean, or a $150 cleaning fee applies. Excess mess = $300 deep cleaning fee. 17. No Smoking Absolutely no smoking of any kind. Violation = $1500 minimum fee. 18. No Drugs Evidence of drug use or transport = full deposit loss and police report. 19. Strong Odors No cooking/long-term storage of strong-smelling items inside (bacon, fish, game meat, etc.). Cook outside or be charged a $300 odor removal fee. 20. Rental Period Return times must be respected (see #3 & #33). 21. Minor Repairs Contact owner before attempting repairs. Save receipts and defective parts for reimbursement. 22. Damages Renter is responsible for any damage inside or outside the RV, including weather or accidents. Interior damage is not covered by platform insurance. 23. Height Awareness Know RV clearance. Drive-throughs are prohibited. All height-related damage is 100% renter’s responsibility. 24. Appliances A/C, TVs, microwave, etc., are not guaranteed. Contact us for troubleshooting. 25. Abandonment Abandoning the RV incurs a $3,000 fee plus costs for missing items or keys. 26. Lockout/Lost Keys Lockouts: $0.75/mile (round trip) + $25 per missing key. Locksmiths must be pre-approved. 27. Optional Add-Ons Selected add-ons not prepaid (e.g., propane or dump fees) will be deducted from your deposit. 28. Personal Property You are solely responsible for your belongings. 29. Liability Waiver You release owners from liability for injuries, accidents, or lost income. 30. Severability Invalid provisions do not void the remainder of the agreement. 31. Modifications No changes unless in writing and signed by the owner. 32. Damage Over Deposit You agree to pay any charges exceeding your deposit and allow charges to your booking platform account. 33. RV Return RV must be cleaned, tanks emptied, and parked at the drop-off spot before rental is considered complete. 34. Lost Time No refunds for loss of rental time due to breakdowns, weather, or system failures. 35. Rental Extensions This agreement remains valid if your booking is extended. 36. Deposit Refund Refunds may take up to 72 hours post-inspection. 37. Speed Limit Max speed is 65 mph. Follow “truck speed” signs. Left lane only for passing. 38. Boondocking/Dry Camping Renter assumes all responsibility for managing water, waste, and power when dry camping. 39. Hold Harmless Renter holds owner harmless for any loss, injury, or damage occurring during rental. 40. Binding Agreement This agreement is in addition to the platform’s rental terms. FEES ADDENDUM All fees below will be deducted from your deposit + 15% processing fee: Waste tanks not emptied: $150 Refuel charge (if returned low): cost + fee Smoking in RV: $1,500 Late return: $75/hr Pet damage or hair: $300 (deep cleaning) Toll invoice received: $70 per invoice + toll cost Cleaning required: $150 Deep cleaning: $300 Lockout: $25 per key + mileage Lost key: $25 each Abandonment: $3,000 WASTE TANK ADDENDUM We provide orientation and step-by-step tank-dumping instructions. Instructions are also included in the RV and available digitally. Improper dumping or failure to return tanks empty with valves closed will result in a $150 fee. DO NOT leave black or gray tank valves open while using the RV.
