Overview
Wondie the Wonder is like a Four Seasons on wheels. Great fun for 2 people. Cruise the Pacific Coast from a Bay Area starting location, visit Yosemite, Palm Springs, San Diego, Carmel, Wine Country, Sonoma Coast, Big Sur, or drive across country to Florida and the East Coast.
Upgraded to lithium batteries with optional Starlink and Apple TV available.
Sleeps and drives 2. The unique Rear Lounge has a full couch with a table during the day that is perfect for napping, eating or working (I use it as a Vanlife office with blazing-fast Starlink or 5G internet connection options). But at night the lounge converts in under 1 minute to a queen bed thanks to a hidden Murphy Bed. The lounge has a 27 inch TV with a sound bar and Apple TV. There is a hanging closet and plenty of drawer storage.
There are separate toilet and shower rooms. There's a great water heater that allows you to take as long of a shower as you want provided you have room in the grey tank or you are hooked up to water and sewer. The air conditioner chills you if Wondie is on shore power or has the generator on.
If you are off grid there is plenty of water and grey and black tank holding capability, a generator for power, 200 amps of lithium batteries, 400 watts of solar charging on the roof, a 2000 watt/120v inverter to power your devices, and from-engine battery charging. If you are at a campground with hookups there are easy connections for electric power, water, sewer, and cable.
The kitchen has a two burner gas stove, a deep sink, a large refrigerator with a freezer, a large microwave with a convection oven and another TV with a DVD player and streaming.. There are two cushy seats that you can put a large table in between for great dining. The powered TV antenna provides over-the-air TV to both TVs in addition to streaming and cable options.
All of the lights, heating, AC and generator are controlled by a single touch screen control panel. All of the lights dim, and there are secondary controls in four other locations in the van.
Outside there are several storage cabinets that handle all of the RV tools and connections and more. The wet bay has the van-side connections for water, power, sewer, and, cable. There a full awning with LED lighting. There's a built in outdoor table that hooks up to Wondie under the awning and two camp chairs..
The van is a dream to drive with a 10 speed automatic transmission. Wondie usually gets 15-17 MPG on regular gas. There's a built-in nav/entertainment system that also supports Apple CarPlay.
You have to see it to believe it. Take a look
