Sid is built for boondocking enthusiasts. With rugged tires, heavy-duty suspension, and enhanced ground clearance, you can confidently venture off the beaten path and explore the hidden gems of nature.
She's equipped with 440W total of solar panels:
- 2x170-Watt roof-mounted Zamp solar panels, wired internally to 30-Amp 5-Stage PWM Charge Controller and the 2x6V internal deep cycle batteries
- 1000-Watt portable Jackery solar panel, connected to an 1000W external Jackery power station/inverter
If you need internet while camping and there's no cell signal in sight, not to worry! A Starlink satellite dish and router comes provided as an add on. The entire satellite internet setup can run on solar power, however if you've got high power & charging needs and/or you're concerned about cloudy weather, a portable generator can be provided as another add on. With the solar + generator + Starlink set up, I'm able to work remotely from the RV and keep all of my devices charged with no issues.
