Overview
Skyhigh is a perfect place for a family or just the taller folks. Has a fun loft section with two two full size mattresses beds that most kiddos love to hang out… or up in. ** Must supply own linens, queen and two single/bunk mattresses have soft top water proof covers that I wash every reset. I throw in a couple basic pillows with covers but only as a backup, most people prefer their own. Lots of cabinet space in kitchen which includes stove, hood vent, microwave and fridge/freezer. Basic silverware and kitchen utensils are included, some plastic dinnerware included but when camping paper plates tend to be best, especially if the site you rent doesn’t have sewer. Bathroom has a full tub size shower and there’s also a cowboy shower outside. Skyhigh has heat, new ducted air conditioning (August 2024)loft roof exhaust fan and there’s even a ceiling fan! Plenty of headroom for tall folks Hot water is propane/electric just like the fridge. Electric smart awning with auto close and rain and wind sensor to leave you worry free on rough nights. Safer steps and electric keypad lock on door to keep your belongings safe.
I include a hand or car towable 50 gallon waste tote tank that can be used to empty grey/black water tanks on extended stays, this is up to renter to use if necessary but some campgrounds also offer a pump out service but realistically if you don’t want to have limited water use a site with full sewer is highly recommended as this would give you unlimited use with no hassle or concern. I have no issue emptying tanks at campground dump station when I pick it up but won’t come empty it during the stay as sometimes it’s 100mile trip each way. Tanks must be emptied before return. Any questions just ask.
If you opt for delivery the charge includes both delivery and pickup up. On delivery I park camper on site which sometimes can be tricky at campgrounds with lots of trees. I then set the support jacks, run the water and sewer lines when applicable and connect the power, also extend the slide out. Setup and demo almost always take as hour to go thru everything and packing up is a half hour or more. In short delivery make it’s so I just hand you the keys and ist ready to go.
If self tow renter needs to know that the jacks are for stability/support and not designed to totally lift RV off the wheels as this would bend the frame and do unrepairable damage to the entire RV, this is definitely not a task for a novice camper. Getting the wheels parked level is the most important part and sometimes requires leveling blocks under the wheel which I do provide, really depends on on the site.
