Overview
Airstream’s Basecamp 16X is a small camping trailer that’s tough enough to go anywhere your wanderlust takes you, and comfortable enough to help you really enjoy the time you spend there.
Basecamp is both light and aerodynamic — which helps increase fuel efficiency.
The kitchen has a two-burner gas stove, sink, microwave, refrigerator, and storage space. While you're cooking, the panoramic front windows let you take in the world around you.
Two benches and a seat span the inside of the rear to make room for five people (or more) to lounge, eat, and hang out. And when you’re ready to get some rest, the benches become a bed for two adults and one or two small children. You can also use half the benches for a bed for one that gives you room to get ready.
Basecamp offers multiple comfort features -- when you’re setting up camp somewhere hot, the trailer's air conditioning will keep you cool. In cold locales, the onboard furnace and hot water heater systems will warm things up. For recharging after a day of adventuring, Basecamp has a wet bath with flush toilet and shower.
Basecamp can hold an additional 850 lbs of weight added in storage, so using the back hatch you can load bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, skis, etc. directly into the trailer for travel.
