My wife and I purchased our very first RV in 2021. We chose to go with a small to midsize Class C to avoid having to tow a large trailer behind a vehicle. We took our first expedition to Southern Utah to explore the "Mighty 5" National Parks (Bryce Canyon, Zion, Capital Reef, Arches, Canyonlands). I can tell you, we are more than happy with our decision! The Coachmen Leprechaun 230 FS is a perfect size at 26ft. and had we had no troubles navigating in town or out in the middle of BLM lands. We have taken the RV through high mountain passes and rough canyon roads, and we're exceptionally pleased by the durability and power that the Ford E350 engine is able to output.
The RV is also packed with tons of amenities and premium finishes; such as a built in Onan 4000 Generator, water heater, furnace, AC, stove, microwave, back up camera, and full side slide out. Once parked in your campsite the full side slide out provides you with an enormous amount of extra living space, allowing multiple people to move about the RV with ease. One of our favorite features of the RV as well, is that all 3 of the beds are accessible without having to move the slide out, this greatly improves the versatility of the RV allowing you to camp stealthily, if need be.
Whether you plan to take the RV to your first National Park, the State Park down the road, or to tailgate at your favorite events across the country, The Leprechaun will provide you with all the amenities and necessities that you could want.
