Drive it through Chicago during rush hour or take it off grid for a couple of days. The solar and battery system along with the 68lb propane tank can keep your essentials going with a full charge off grid for a couple of nights at least. The Cross Trek features a large rear cargo door that opens to a rear cargo area equipped with D hooks. Depending on the toys, you may have to sacrifice a traveler, but the Cross Trek has earned its name traversing east and west, rarely without at least 1 10' kayak secured inside, usually two and a 9'8" surfboard, because that's how I roll - and three passengers traveled comfortably. The Cross Trek features a large, stand-alone shower as well - no showering in the toilet space hunched over for fear of bumping your head, there's a good 7' of clearance.
