Due to previous bad experiences renting awnings, we are using a new system this year. Please read this carefully before booking - if you do book, these are the terms you agree to: - we will take a security deposit equal the the value of the awning (£330) +£50 for renting this item. - if there is any damage at all to the awning, no matter how minor and no matter how it was caused (whether your fault, someone else's, act of god, etc etc), we will deduct the brand new purchase cost of the awning from the security deposit and give you the awning to keep. You can then do with the awning as you wish - repair and sell, sell as is, keep for future use... - you must report all damages to us immediately when they happen, so that we have time to order another for the next customer. Failure to report damages which you would have known about will result in us keeping the additional £50, which is effectively an honesty bond. - please make all efforts to return the awning clean and dry. Whilst we expect to have to clean and check it, if is left in a state where it cannot be cleaned, again we will simply declare it unhireable and charge you for the replacement.
